▀ Water Meter Marauders (Greenville, MS)
TWO WOMEN WERE booked for rusing folks into thinking they were meter maids.
Brenda Williams, 54, and Amanda Lumley, 43, were seen ripping off supposed obsolete water meters out of peoples’ homes along Mill Road on Monday.
The pair were riding along in a Jeep Cherokee (perhaps claiming incognito city worker undercover work) and claiming the water meters for the city.
Only they weren’t on Grenville’s dime.
Each was soon swimming in a sea of larceny charges.

▀ Suspected Dealer Caught Plying Trade Out Of Old Home (Findlay, OH)
A SUSPECTED DOPE pusher was allegedly nabbed trying to tender transactions under the cover of geriatric living.
Darrell Williams, 52, was pursued as he drove out of the Senio Homes back on June 16.
Cops say the perp darted into Bellsstores and then was seen on CCTV attempting to make invisible a baggie filled with 83.15 grams of crack.
▀ Fugitive Popped With 3 Keys Of Fetty (Pensacola, FL)
A SUSPECTED DOPE peddler wanted in multiple counties was picked up at a home with a bunch of dope.
On May 28, task force members raided a Maple Woods Circle home and seized 3.5 kilos (3,424 grams) of fentanyl, psilocybin, and 3 guns.
They also nabbed Ke Anthony Javon Blackmon, 28, who was wanted in both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

IT WAS RAINING lead and that had cops pulling over a sketchy ride that was peeling away.
At around 1 a.m. on June 17 cops rushed to Broderick Street where witnesses heard a flurry of gunshots.
Once there, the officers stopped a car and started to search it.
They found two loaded unserialized “ghost guns”, multiple magazines and ammunition, several baggies filled with cocaine.
They also pinched the 27-year-old driver, Zabdiel Cortezpadilla.
He’s not facing felony and misdemeanor charges for weapons and drug possession.
▀ Mexican Connection (Spokane, WA)
A MEXICAN NATIONAL was busted moving meth, fentanyl and other drugs through Washington state.
Jose Gonzalez-Rodriguez, 24, was nabbed last year for slinging product out of Mexico into California and throughout Eastern Washington.
A June 24, 2024, search warrant on the suspect’s car and his apartment turned up six pounds of meth and 66,384 fentanyl-pressed pills, a pound of cocaine, some heroin, and four pistols (two were stolen) were found in the kitchen wrapped in tape and plastic for transport.
Gonzalez-Rodriguez was sentenced to 10 years hard time after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and firearm charges.

A NOT-SO-ROUTING TRAFFIC stop ended with a sloshed driver spinning out of control and ploying into the rear of a cruiser and then ricocheting into a civilian’s car on South Main Street weeks back.
