▀ Hustler Nabbed Buying 15 Keys Of ‘Sham Coke’ (Brockton, MA)
THE GREEN WAS 100. But the blow was bogus.
Jose Perez is going down for trying to buy 15 kilograms of fools coke.
The 47-year-old set up a meet with folks he believed were cocaine supplier — but turned out to be undercovers.
Over the course of a few months starting from January — Perez submitted his determinatiion to make a deal for 15 “high quality cars” — jargon for cocaine.
But he needed to pony up enough cash.
That took some time.
By May, the terms were set and Perez even sent the “supplier” a photograph of his cash — $90,000 of it.
A meet was agreed upon for June 11 in Framingham to transact the buy.
But for much more — 15 kilos… $150,000.
That day Perez was being cased by coppers moving around from his home in Brockton to his biz, JP Auto Body in Dorchester.
He was seen dropping off a child and then plucking from a hidden compartment the cash.
The undercovers arrived and delivered the “sham cocaine”.
Perez was witnessed placing the faux dope into the secret compartment.
That sent the officers swarming.
Perez was charged with attempted possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine provides for a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to life in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $10 million.

Quickly the man was arrested and his Camelot Drive abode and another home in Springdale were searched and the fruits of the three-month investigation (mostly low-denomination bills) splayed on a table.
All told there was 120 grams of fentanyl, 90 grams of cocaine, $5,400, a 2017 Mercedes-Benz, and a Slingshot Motorcycle.

BACKTALK:
Notnavy: I had a friend that found one offshore. He called the Coast Guard. They said to pull it into the boat and bring it to shore. He refused, and I would too. No telling what would happen to you with either law enforcement or criminals seeing that you have a large haul of drugs.
SgtCasper: Totally agree. Absolutely no way I would bring it aboard my boat. I would give coordinates and go about my day.
DemzH8U: Dang tide currents. That was supposed to come ashore in Pascagoula. Ugh!!
