▀ Coke-Filled Bow Fired Into Jail (Uniontown, PA)

Recorded phone calls capture plans to shoot drugs into Fayette County Jail

AN ARROW FILLED with coke was fired into Fayette County Jail.

Now four people — Charles Smith, Alfonso Pugh, Amanda Frey, and Seth Stepich — (the suspected crossbow shooter remains outstanding) — are facing the fallback.

Jailers pored over CCTV and took a listen to inmate chatter on the phones.

They quickly discovered a series of preplanning moves being bandied about by the aforementioned suspects.

In one of the calls, you can hear an inmate say, "What do you think about that?" The person on the other line can then be heard saying:

"It's possible. It can happen," adding, "I need a cross... the only thing I don't have is a crossbow. I need a crossbow. One with a little power behind it. Gonna have at least 200 pounds of draw."
Inmate: "Make sure that goes through! Get your ass in the car and take care of the business! You hear that, bro?… It's about to be done here in a minute!"

Smith: “7:30 dawg. Don’t let anything stop you in the way… Do what I told you to do. Make sure that shit goes through.”

Those inmates, according to the cops, are Amanda Frey and Seth Stepich chatting with Alfonso Pugh and Charles Smith to hatch the contraband infiltration into the grounds of the lockup down on Route 21 or McClellandtown Road.

The four also speak in code in other snippets.

Inmate: "You know what I was thinking? You can, them things that you guys are getting for the kids and stuff, you can crush them things. Crush them down and put them in Saran Wrap. Wrap them up like that," an inmate said.
Frey: "OK. Alright.”
Inmate: "Then Chris can do them like that. Put them in there so they got Saran Wrap, but crushed. Fill it all the way up.”

Cops say the crew moved forward with the plan.

They slated the arrow-shooting smuggling attempt into the jail minutes after 8 p.m. on June 2.

Only the shooter was no marksman because the arrow missed its mark. The target was supposed to be a jail window. (Authorities didn’t find it until four days later.)

The cops pried it open with bolt cutters and discovered among all things rubber gloves with the fingers snipped off.

District Attorney Mike Aubele said that inside the gloves was a “significant amount of cocaine.”

HE’S GONNA NEED A bigger plunger.

SWAT and company did the dance on Silver Spur Lane back on the early morning of June 8.

Only they likely weren’t expecting to do any plumbing.

But that’s exactly what they encountered; a suspect was caught tossing a brick of fentanyl down the toilet.

It didn’t flush.

The suspect then asked: “Am I in trouble?”

The cops responded: “Yes you are!”

Once under the dumped brick was fished out and added to the evidence.

It added to the total haul involving 2.5 pounds of pure White China, cutting agents, two pistols, more than $10,000.

Asher Merritt, Derek Bryant, Joshawn Wilson — all hailing from Detroit — along with Jason Washington, and Taylor Fair-Beck.

When I was in jail over 2 years ago there were countless people from Detroit in there for drugs and a good number of them had federal holds where the feds picked up the cases! I know people here from Detroit that don’t even have anything to do with drugs and still get side eyed by law enforcement.

TWO SUSPECTED PLAYERS in the dope game were popped plying rocks and fetty.

At around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, narcos nabbed Donald Richardson, 42, and Frank Debartolo, 63, around Gov. Winthrop Blvd. and Meridian Street.

The bust yielded 11.5 grams of crack and 15.1 grams of fentanyl — along with “Plants Vs. Zombies”-themed emblazoned sleeves.

Each suspect is facing various possession charges.

THERE WAS A forest of trees being covertly harvested inside a home plotted on a subdivision.

On June 18, cops raided a Woodview Drive abode that was fronting a large MJ grow that when paid a visit was tending to 600 plants and more than 66 pounds of processed indo in one-pound bags.

They also seized two ounces of cocaine, paraphernalia including digital scales and packaging materials.
